STRAIGHTFORWARD RECRUITMENT IS LOOKING FOR A PRODUCTION OPERATOR
ON A TEMP TO PERM BASIS!!! (Near to Dereham)
This will be on a rotation basis Dayshift and Nightshift 6am till 6pm - 6pm till 6am with days of in between.
Pay Rate GBP12.01 per hour when working own shift, you will be working in a team where holiday cover is a requirement of the job, this will be paid at x1.3 for weekday cover, x1.5 Saturday and x2 for Sunday.
Key tasks and skills required in this role are: -
1.0 Running plant equipment to transfer grain from storage to production, and dry grain into storage. Bob cat operations, tractor driving to complete check weighments and grain transfers as required. (Experience and Licenses to drive Bob Cat and Tractor and Counterbalance desirable but not essential, as full training can be supplied.)
2.0 Sampling and process checks of barley drying operation.
3.0 Hygiene control, sweeping, cleaning vacuuming.
4.0 Management of bulk barley deliveries and tipping into correct storage locations.
5.0 Completion of productions records, and good communication of shift handover.
6.0 Reporting and recording of maintenance issues as and when these arise.
7.0 Assisting other production departments as directed.
The ideal candidate will be able to work equally effectively in a team environment as well as on their own, will have good communication skills, be capable of taking responsibility for their work area, production requirements, have good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to ensure process timings and quality requirements are met. Experience working shifts within a production role would be preferable. Applicant must be physically fit due to the level of manual work required in this role.
