Junior Design Engineer

Red Chilli Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Junior Marine Design Engineer is sought to join an expanding innovative company in the marine industry to help develop their design processes. Reporting directly to the head designer you will be working alongside a small team of design specialists. This is an incredible opportunity to gain first-hand experience from a builder with a world class pedigree.

Main Duties:

• Aid in the designing and building of existing products and new builds

• Build a library of drawings of boats/build packs.

• Various tasks within the full design process.

• Involvement with sales and marketing.

Key attributes:

• A huge passion to work in the marine industry

• A degree in a relevant marine design background

• The creative innovation to bring fresh, new ideas into the workplace

• Enthusiasm and keen to learn and develop their skillset

• Have experience/knowledge using both 2D and 3D design software
