Salary - GBP18,000 - GBP22,000

Benefits - 25-days hols + bank hols + pension

The role

• Responsible for ensuring all products assembled beyond the machine centre are consistently manufactured to the required build standard and the throughput is in line with the quotation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product in accordance with defined build instructions and IPC-A-610 standards
• Ensure all deviations from IPC-A-610 standards are clearly and concisely documented on build instructions prior to commencement of any work on customer's products
• Ensure defined processes are robust, clear and concise and can consistently achieve the required standard, if any work is committed
• Compliance with company quality standards and procedures
• Team environment, building strong, long-term partnership with the suppliers and customer internal and external
• Continuous improvement - sustaining an environment that fosters the elimination of waste and variation in process
• Accountability and ownership - taking ownership - taking responsibility for ones actions and an active role in career development

Skills and experience

• Level 3 - Operator in SMT assembly
• Clarion time monitoring
• QDS
• Certification to IPC-A-610
• Soldering - Class-3
• X-Ray experience
• SMT with Europlacer experience
