Learning Mentor

Learning Mentor. Additional Support. Part Time (20 hours). Term Time Only (37 weeks per year). Permanent.

We are seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Learning Mentor. The work of the Learning Mentor provides support to students to help break down barriers to learning enabling them to reach their full potential.

The role involves working with a wide range of students, targeting those who experience disadvantages. You will be responsible for managing drop in sessions, assessing your students’ support needs, identifying barriers, target setting and monitoring progress. 

The successful candidate will hold a minimum Level 2 in maths and English have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent along with recent and relevant experience working with young people in diverse settings.
