A leading security consultancy are looking to bring in an experienced Evaluation & Test Engineer to join their team based in the South East on a permanent basis.

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Working as part of a small team of electrical and mechanical engineers, material scientists and chemists engaged in the test and evaluation of currently used batteries
• Manage Electronic and Electrical support to this facility
• Fault finding, diagnosis and maintenance of electronic and electrical systems
• Preparation & Maintenance of documentation for safety and risk
• Perform and report on tests undertaken on batteries and power systems
• Operate all Facility equipment
• Assistance for battery trials at other sites

Qualification/Skills & Attributes:

• A keen interest Battery, Environmental and Electrical Engineering
• Electronics/Electrical Engineering to Degree level (or equivalent)
• Possess a working knowledge of Electrical and Electronic equipment and systems
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices and general maintenance principles
