Researcher

Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major Public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Researcher for an initially 03 month contract based in Andover.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create iterative research plan for the project; Implement iterative research plan, including conducting research; Work with the project team;
• Communicate research findings;
• Create appropriate models for sharing user insight (eg. personas if appropriate); Assist in the development and upkeep of research;
• Assist in the training and development

The key responsibilities- of the postholder during this period is to:

1. Undertake a systematic literature review on Reserves related topics and interrogating the Future Reserve Research Programme research.

2. Support deeper quantitative and qualitative analysis of the Reserve Continuous Attitude Survey (ResCAS) data

3. Support the psychometric review of ResCAS

4. Undertake activities to promote the ResCAS response rate.

5. Contribute to focus groups reviewing and understanding satisfaction with life and role in the Army Reserve.

6. Undertake wider reviews and analysis to support Army Reserve focussed work.

Essential qualifications-
BSc Psychology with GBR status
MSc Occupational Psychology

Essential competence

Experience with:

* research methods

* conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis (with SPSS)

* undertaking literature reviews.
