On Line People Limited are currently looking for a Project Design Engineer to work for one of our major clients based in Louth. This is a contract position with the review of becoming permanent, working full time hours.
This company is a well established business at the leading edge of technical innovation in plastic compounding. Specialising in the supply of thermoplastic compounds, based upon prime and/or recycled feedstock, the Company has a reputation as one of the most respected suppliers of high quality materials to the Polymer industry.
They require support in the area of project management to meet increasing demands for the development of the business. This role requires someone with excellent communication, strong organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail with the ability to follow a task through to completion.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate prior successful achievement in a similar role.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Following the Company's Project Methodology to ensure projects are progressed in the most efficient manner, utilising all the skills and resources available to best effect in the appropriate timescale.
• To create plans for new projects using Microsoft Project and Gantt charts, achieving timing and cost targets.
• To call and chair project meetings to ensure actions are progressed in a timely manner and project deadlines are met.
• To use AutoCAD and Solidworks to prepare plans for projects where drawings are required for placement or planning.
• To develop new ideas into drawings using Autocad and Solidworks.
• To produce site layouts keeping the information up to date.
• To produce layouts for machine installation, building works etc. as required.
• To produce process flow diagrams, control diagrams and P&IDs for installations and systems.
• To support the Company's commitment to its social and economic interest with the environment by promoting the reduction in waste through energy saving and reducing the carbon footprint.
Qualifications:
• You will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent (within the Engineering sector).
• Be in possession of relevant CAD/Solidworks qualification/ experience.
