Salary: GBP16,900 per annual
Location: Beehive Chelmsford
You will be working as part of a dedicated team in a Learning Difficulty Care scheme providing care to vulnerable adults.
Your aim will be to provide high quality individualised support to individuals to enable them to live the lives they choose.Working with individuals who can display behaviours which challenge we follow the ethos of Positive Behaviour Support, engaging individuals in active support and focussing on community participation. The main duties for this post will be to provide emotional support to service users, promote daily independence and wellbeing, as well as offering personal care and support with daily living tasks. We work within the framework of Person Centred Care, incorporating Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support.
You will be required to follow comprehensive plans and intervention guidelines as well as support plans and risk assessments. You will have a good understanding of the needs of people with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and other complex needs. Previous experience working in a care and support role is desirable but not essential as training will be offered if successful.
