My client based in Killingholme is looking for a Vehicle Inspector to work with the customer service team to carry out competent visual inspections and assessments of new vehicles, looking for damage caused during the logistics chain in line with the standards set out by our client and their customers.
Hours dependent on number of vehicles shipped which will be anticipated to be 40+ hours a week. Ongoing Temp-Perm. Some weekend working will be required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
?? Correctly find vehicle damage and record via Electronic scanner/PDA or other methods as dictated by individual contracts, working on new vehicle arrivals at the local port.
?? To work as an effective member of our clients and customer service teams to ensure a professional product is delivered to the customer and liaise with all required agencies to effectively deliver the service.
?? Communicate effectively with the other members of our clients and customer service teams.
?? Ensure you understand the methods & procedures for the inspection, survey or task you are going to perform
?? Adhere to all our client policies, procedures, work with due diligence and obey instructions as required.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
?? Motor Industry related knowledge advantage.
?? Knowledge of vehicle bodywork and parts advantage
?? Damage assessing and estimating repair costs
?? Able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt flexibility to change.
?? Ability to understand and follow inspection manuals and routines.
?? Attention to detail.
EXPERIENCE
Essential
?? Experience of working in inspection/valeting or repair disciplines.
?? Customer service related experience.
Desirable
?? Experience of working on own Initiative
?? Experience of working in a vehicle body work environment.
?? Experience of working in marine Ro environments
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
?? Driving license.
Desirable
. Experience of Vehicle inspection

.PC skills (desirable).
