The position requires a highly numerate individual who has excellent excel skills and the capability to pick new accounting processes up quickly. Day to day you will be involved in VAT returns, analysis, forecasting, treasury, intrastat returns, statutory accounts prep and a whole host of other tasks. You may not have experience of all the tasks but ongoing support will be provided and as long as you have the enthusiasm and thirst for development this could be an excellent career opportunity gaining you experience in areas that you won't come across day to day at other businesses.
