Our client is one of the UK's largest privately-owned suppliers of high care products. Supplying into a number of well-known retailers, the company prides itself of delivering high standards and striving for consistent innovation within the marketplace.

After a sustained period of growth, a vacancy has arisen for a Technical Assistant to join their growing technical team where you will be tasked with supporting the delivery of site technical compliance, customer standards, technical administration and external specifications.

The main Responsibilities' for this role are;
•Carry out scheduled technical standards and compliance requirements -
•perform pH testing as per customer requirements
•complete product/environmental and water sampling in line with site schedule
•file, analyse and trend microbiological results
•Report and investigate any 'out of spec' micro results
•Complete quality control sheets with regards to temperature monitoring equipment, daily checks and sampling
•Perform legionella testing on weekly basis
•Place and remove cooling curves
•Perform amenities stock takes.
•File paperwork and maintain document control system.
•Calibrate factory temperature logging equipment and scales.
•Aid traceability exercises
•Provide full support for preparation and delivery of requirements for site audits
•Complete internal audits as per site schedule
•Produce and maintain all appropriate records
•Ensure own familiarity and compliance with company policies and procedures, standards of operation and safe operating procedures

In order to apply for this role, you must:
•Attentive to detail and analytical with good problem-solving skills
•Good communication skills at all levels - verbal and written
•Flexible, adaptable and keen to develop and support others' development
•Accreditation Food Hygiene equivalent at minimum level 2 - required to deliver minimum level 3 in role
•Strong H&S understanding and compliance leadership
•Awareness of ETI Base Code/Sedex, BRC and ISO standards and has proven record of and skillset for delivering compliance
•Speaking, writing and understanding excellent spoken and written English language. (This is an essential health & safety, traceability, management and quality control requirement which will be tested as part of the recruitment process)
