On the appointment of the new Executive Head Chef, our client is now looking to grow their team with additional Commis Chefs.
It is a fantastic opportunity for a Commis Chef to join the Team at a very reputable hotel with stunning countryside views.
The ideal person will have a passion for cooking and a desire to start a career in catering.
The Commis Chef candidate will also be able to work quickly, efficiently, paying attention to detail, cope with working under pressure and be able to learn on their feet.
Experience of working in a kitchen is preferable but full training is provided.
The main responsibilities of the Commis Chef are:
To prepare food to the specifications outlined by the Head Chef
Demonstrate improvements in kitchen skills and techniques
To control and keep accurate records of all stocks
To observe Health, Hygiene, COSHH, Fire, Health & Safety regulations and requirements
