Crisis Skylight London is recruiting an experienced and qualified maths tutor on a part-time basis to join the Learning Zone. The Learning Zone Team is a group of diverse, dynamic and friendly tutors.

About the role

As the Functional Maths Tutor, you will plan and deliver a programme of maths classes from Entry Level 1 up to Level 2. You will support homeless and vulnerably housed people to develop their skills, confidence and self-esteem with the opportunity to achieve maths Functional Skills qualifications.

To be successful in this role you will have a full teaching qualification with a subject specialism in maths. The ideal candidate will have experience in engaging vulnerable learners, with complex needs, in training programmes. Experience in delivering high quality interactive functional maths is essential for this role.
