Our client is an independent, privately owned company that provides a specialised range of quality products aimed at Life Science customers. They are now looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join their dedicated team in Runcorn.

The Role
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will help to prepare and manufacture our client’s quality products.
In this varied role, your duties will involve:
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the laboratory areas and equipment
- Cleaning laboratory glassware and storage vessels
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Preparing vials and bottles for sale
- Processing and fulfilling customer orders
About You
While no experience is required, to be considered, you’ll need:
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A* - C (9 – 4 new grading) in Maths, English and Science
- The ability to work to procedures and accurately completed documentation
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to prioritise your workload
- A great eye for detail
Ideally, you’ll have an A Level qualification (or equivalent) in Science, but this isn’t essential. Experience of working in a team would be beneficial, as would experience of working in a busy and highly variable environment.
Other companies may call this role Lab Assistant, Production Lab Assistant, Trainee Laboratory Technician, Junior Production Technician, Trainee Production Lab Technician or Trainee Laboratory Assistant.
