Operations Manager

Our client, a leading company in the energy industry is looking for a self-motivated International Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise directly with CEO, Directors and key personnel within our organizations both in the UK and abroad with key personnel within our client base in the UK and abroad
• Planning, organising and executing all documentation, delivery and supervision of our chartered vessels
• Financial management to include forecast, sales reports, accounting and invoicing issue
• Facilitating communication and interpersonal skills to help different parts of the organization work together while assist in making high-level decision together with CEO and directors.
• May be required to travel abroad at short notice
• Oversee and organise all different activities within the UK office i.e. accounts, shipping, financial, administrations etc
• Assist and supports on increasing efficiency and effectiveness within the company
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the CEO, Directors.

Skills/Experience:

• Degree educated
• 10 or more years in the shipping/freight industry
• Well-versed writing/editing draft correspondences
• Multitasking
• Microsoft software suite
• Ability to learn quickly and take on responsibility
• In-depth understanding of shipping documentation
