Warehouse Manager needed ASAP for a fleet company in Avonmouth.
Position: Warehouse Manager
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per year
Hours: 47.5 hrs per week Monday - Saturday
Interviews will be held ASAP
Start Date - 28th Jan and training will be held in Eastleigh.
To efficiently and effectively manage the warehousing and distribution function for the Distribution Warehouse. You will be responsible for ordering and managing stock levels to optimise availability and stock valuation. Ensuring distribution of products in the most efficient and cost effective manner to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You must have experience of:
* supervising or managing a team of people
* commercial tyre experience
* managing customer expectations and demands to provide outstanding customer service
* working under pressure often to tight deadlines
* working to defined key performance indicators
The following experience is desirable:
* warehouse management experience would be advantageous
* high level of numeracy
* working in a fast paced warehouse environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead, advise, coach and motivate the team, ensuring maximum performance is achieved
* Control and maintain the day to day running of the warehouse and distribution activities
* Maintain optimum stock levels to meet demand without holding surplus stock
* Ensure full legal compliance
* Ensure understanding and compliance of Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
* Ensure resources are managed efficiently
* Maintain distribution costs per tyre with budget
* Maximise rebate opportunities
* Minimise stock write off
* Ensure adherence to KPI's e.g. picking and manifest discrepancies kept * Maintain statistics for Tools and Consumable purchases
* Maintain the provision of tools, consumables, work wear and PPE
* Collate data for budget holder for all associated areas of expenditure
* Oversee HR requirements across warehouse including recruitment and retention
* Conduct audits as required
* Ensure full compliance to Company policies and procedures
* Adapt approach depending on situation
* Work flexibly to support business
* Create a close working relationship with key stakeholders
* Strive to maximise internal and external customer satisfaction
