Search HR are working in partnership with one of our valued clients, I'm recruiting for an Employee Relations Specialist on a 12 month FTC to be based out of Sunbury on Thames but also cover the south west regional sites. The team that this position sits with work closely supporting each other, it's a fast paced evolving environment and very rewarding organisation to work for. I have outlined the main duties and responsibilities that will be required to be successful in this post

? Deliver on value added ER projects, such as ER Manager training, Wellbeing, ER metrics, Exit Interviews, Early Intervention.
? Provide advice and guidance on the management of employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, and restructuring.
? Project manage the whole cycle of restructuring activities to ensure achievement with global timelines.
? Manage the people elements of Mergers and Acquisitions as well as TUPE
? Develop management capability by providing coaching and guidance
? Assist in the implementation of harmonised HR policies and procedures. Provide advice and interpret such policies as appropriate.
? Effectively manage all ER cases, Disciplinary, Grievance Occupational Health and Absence cases.
? Build strong and consultative relationships with the Unions and their reps.
? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the business, HR trends and employment legislation and pro-actively use knowledge to provide excellent customer focused, value add, service provision.

Experience

? Strong ER experience,
? Experience in a similar large multi-site, complex commercial environment.
? Ideally worked in a unionised environment.

Knowledge

? Understanding of HR issues including employee relations and employment legislation.
? PC literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
