You'll gain a tremendous depth of expertise in all aspects of human capital, including creating sustainable value through people culture and change, designing compensation and retirement strategies, and improving human capital operations.

Our team helps organisations design and implement organisational models that will deliver maximum agility, flexibility, and responsiveness for their business. As part of our team, you'll focus on performing organisational diagnosis through capability reviews, evaluating structure and team design, and analysing organisation cost effectiveness to deliver adaptable and sustainable value for our clients.

Responsibilities

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Essential Criteria
  • Successful experience of project managing organisation design engagements. This experience will have been gained on large scale transformation programmes AND/OR more focused, discrete change projects.
  • Knowledge and experience of the end to end organisation design process
  • Experience applying organisation design and change management approaches, tools and methods, such as Goold and Campbell, Kotter and Argyris.
  • Tried consulting skills, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Validated ability to develop and facilitate workshops with client teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Excel.
  • Financially literate and educated to degree level, or equivalent.
  • Be available to travel to client sites across the UK and Europe on a regular basis
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in Financial Services and/or Financial Services Risk and Regulation.
  • Experience of working with large public sector clients.
  • Relevant professional qualification, such as MSc in a relevant discipline, CIPD qualification or a qualification in psychometric testing.
  • Wider experience in at least one of the following Strategy development and implementation Engagement and Communications Training design and delivery Human Resources and Employee Relations Process redesign and implementation
