Lead Control & Instrumentation Programming Engineer Siemens S7

Bonfire Recruitment is retained in the recruitment of a permanent Lead Control & Instrumentation Engineer (C&I) for a Siemens software focused role at its established and growing EPCM client in Derbyshire, UK.
Responsibilities:
* Design of plant control systems from P&ID, equipment package data, and operation requirements.
* Write all PLC programmes
* Write all Control Philosophy's
* Design control system panels, and execute the design
* Review and acceptance of vendor control system requirements
* Draft and detail control philosophy documentation, and control software design basis
Preferred Candidate:
* Software Degree (Engineering, or control systems), or qualified by experience
* Have significant installation, design and commissioning of control packages.
* Must be familiar with Siemens S7 software and similar equipment and software.
* 5 years + demonstrable experience with PLC / SCADA / DCS system
* Siemens software experience essential
* Tia Portal experience
* Siemens Safety systems experience.
* SCADA / HMI display and data programming
* Operating Data collection experience to allow plant performance analysis
* DESIRABLE experience implementing a data collection & transfer methodology & database manageable
* Have demonstrable experience of designing and approving a control philosophy,
