We're looking for people with great customer service and excellent people skills. If you think you fit the bill, we'll provide all the training you need to be a first class bus driver.
Key role and responsibilities for this role
• Transport passengers safely and punctually via pre-designated routes
• Provide great customer service with excellent people skills
• Be confident handling cash
• Display professional driving standards and be confident driving large vehicles
Minimum requirements for this role
• At least two years driving experience of which at least six months must have been in the UK
• Ideally a clean Driving Licence but certainly with no more than 3 penalty points
• Previous customer service experience preferred
Job description:
The most important aspect of the job is the safety and comfort of our customers. You will be responsible for safely transporting hundreds of people a week to work, school or college or just out and about and will soon get to know many regular passengers.
Bus drivers have to know all the routes on their rota and understand and be able to inform customers of the different fares available for their journey. You must be punctual and smart, enjoy working with the public, have great customer service and excellent people skills. And, of course, you must be confident driving large vehicles!
