Chase and Holland are excited to be working with a pioneering business in the training and education sector who are now looking to add a Finance Coordinator to their accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern business environment with possibilities to advance a career through a thriving and supportive work environment.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
* Creating month end reports for journals
* Processing monthly accruals and prepayments
* Reconciling key accounts on a monthly basis
* Investigating discrepancies in accounts and processes
* Maintaining fixed asset register
* Producing and posting monthly depreciation journal
* Assisting in Credit Control to maintain positive cashflow
* Ad hoc duties alongside the Accounting Manager such as VAT returns and audit preparation
The ideal candidate will be:
* Professional qualification such as later stages AAT or accounting & finance degree
* Have strong experience in related accounting roles
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Detailed and methodical approach to work
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, and relevant accounting software such as Sage 200
