I am looking for a Programme Manager to work for a World leading financial service organisation located in Glasgow for an initial 6 month contract. You will be an experienced Programme Manager with strong skills in Program Management, Project Management, Project Delivery, Global Delivery Office, Architecture, Regulatory, Compliance. Stakeholder Management, IT and Business, Applications and Financial Services. Responsibilities + Oversee a broad set of initiatives including those with a high level of project risk and work plan complexity. + Serves as point of escalation for staff, business sponsors, IT executives and key project stakeholders. + Act as a source of sound counsel to senior IT and business leaders. + Partner with the senior leadership from the Business and IT community to identify and prioritize opportunities for achieving the goals of the program. + Provide consultative support in the area of business strategy development and solution assessments as it relates to the major programme. + Lead project teams through scoping definition and ensure all execution efforts align to program goals. + Lead the establishment of measurable and achievable critical success factors for all initiatives + Control planning and execution to ensure that cost, time, and quality goals are met + Develop and maintain the project plans + Provide view of plans and progress to date + Lead effort estimating and project costing to create a budget that reflects total project cost (including all resources and capital). + Manage against the approved budget and recommend course correction as necessary. + Conduct periodic stakeholder meetings to ensure status clarity and clear expectations - Promote Project Management Methodology + Developing and executing complex technical tasks, applying knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid development methodologies + Providing mentoring for project management best practices and techniques to other PMs and contractor personnel Skills + Excellent interpersonal skills + Excellent communication skills + Be able to drive/display ownership/proactive behavior + Should be able to communicate effectively (Oral and Written) across a broad spectrum of cultural differences, where required + Candidate must have proven project management & leadership skills. + Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project. + Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning and time management skills. + Experience implementing new processes and driving change within a large organization + Experience with large scale systems environments and fluent with technology solutions + Proven ability to drive adoption and continual process improvement Please send me your CV for an immediate review. __________________________________________________ Location Glasgow, UK Industry IT, Finance Duration 6 months Start Date ASAP Rate GBP400 - GBP475 per Day Employment Business Strategic Staffing Solutions International Contact Paul Jolly Telephone Email Contact This Employment Business Reference JSPROGGGLAS Posted Date 11/01/:31:14 Permalink Apply __________________________________________________ We strongly recommend that you should never provide your bank account details to an advertiser during the job application process.
