What will I be doing?

As a School Porter, you will support the day-to-day running of Blundell's school. You will focus on providing a safe and efficient school environment.

Each School Porter will be responsible for different areas of school operations and the role will vary person-to-person depending on your strengths. Particular tasks will be directed by the Head Porter.

Examples of the types of activity you will be involved in are:

- Cleaning all areas of the school, from classrooms and offices to House areas, showers and toilets
- Setting up equipment for meetings, assemblies, events and social occasions
- Carrying and transporting furniture and equipment around the school
- Delivery services for laundry, stationery, parcels and House requirements
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks when required

What do I need?

Whilst no experience is required, to be considered, you'll need:

- A full, clean driving licence
- A positive and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
- A good eye for detail

The working hours for this role are 7.45am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings during term only.
