Manual Machinist/Tool Maker

We have an immediate requirement for a time served Manual Machinist to work on a permanent basis with our leading manufacturing client who is currently experiencing a sustained period of growth. The role:

* Working as part of a team
* Surface grinding
* Operating rotary tables
* Making tools onsite

The Person:

* Time served Tool Maker/Machinist
* Highly skilled in manual tool making
* Bridgeport Mills - Manual & Heidenheim CNC Control
* Gear Cutting - (Desirable but not essential)
* Tool Maker Trade
* Ability to prioritise and multitask whilst retaining attention to detail and accuracy
* Problem solving skills
* PC Literate with good administration skills
* Flexible approach, can work shifts and overtime as needed
