B3Living is the largest independent housing association in the Borough of Broxbourne, providing over 4,600 homes across Hertfordshire and Essex. Our mission is to build a range of homes for social rent, private rent and shared ownership to counteract the local housing crisis and shortage of homes in our area.

We are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to line manage and be an active member of a small team responsible for delivering an efficient and customer-focused Grounds Maintenance Service, aimed at ensuring B3Living’s estates are well-kept and desirable places to live.
You will perform grass cutting duties using a strimmer, correctly operate vehicles, machinery and equipment and carry out landscaping and other improvement works such as ground preparation, turfing, seeding, shrub and tree planting.

Proactive in your approach, you will maintain records of work completed, especially in areas such as weed control and use of contact herbicides.

We are looking for an individual who has worked in a grounds maintenance role previously and has management experience. You must be proficient in the use of grounds maintenance equipment and have good knowledge of plants and horticulture.  You must hold a full UK driving licence for business purposes and ideally, you will have a relevant weed control certificate.
