Nursery Practitioner - Level 3 +

Job Description Early Years Practitioner/Third in charge

Our client has a great team and is looking for a CACHE or NVQ Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner in childcare and education. Alternatively, someone that has a BA degree qualified in early years early years education. This company will also accept qualification in education from overseas or has Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and enjoys working with young children.

Starting salary: GBP18,000 to GBP20,000 + excellent further training and career progression opportunities will be provided. Full time position to work between 38 to 45 hours per week.

Job description:

• Include planning and implementing creative and learning activities in line with EYFS, working as part of a busy team, ensuring safety and wellbeing of children always.
• Following health and safety policies and procedures, carrying out observations of children.
• Writing reports, assisting on trips to places of interest with children and interacting parents and updating them on child's progress.
• Supervising play.
• Having good knowledge of the Safeguarding procedures in line to your Local Borough and settings policies and procedures.

It would be useful if full First Aid Training, Food and Hygiene, Safeguarding, Prevent Duty, FGM, Health and Safety and Fire Safety training are obtained but these can be achieved once you have joined the company. A clear and up to date DBS is required/or online service.
