Home based with national travel

In this brand new role as Retail Risk & Loss Prevention Manager you will collaborate with a wide range of people inside and outside of Sue Ryder leading on the Retail Risk Management and Loss Prevention Strategies,  driving change to protect profit and people in our shops.
Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations you will act as lead for Risk and Profit Protection across Retail, setting agreed standards for statutory and process compliance helping to increase profitability and cost control.

Other key responsibilities include:

•    Develop and implement a Retail Risk Management strategy and a Retail Loss Prevention strategy via effective working with Regional and Area Retail teams
•    Provide effective, detailed risk analysis and trend reporting across all Retail operations for both risk management and loss prevention  
•    Work with the Learning & Development team to design and implement training programmes in compliance and loss prevention, ensuring effectiveness and consistency across all areas of responsibility.
•    Develop and maintain strong, effective cross functional business partnerships with internal & external stakeholders

It’s an exciting time to join Sue Ryder and to hit the ground running you will ideally have a strong background in risk management and loss prevention in a retail environment. You’ll have a good understanding of Health & Safety management in property and personnel, with experience of establishing and implementing policies and procedures across a large retail chain.  You will have the ability to inspire, motivate and engage teams across Sue Ryder.
