Financial Mis-Selling Paralegal/ Fee Earner
Our client is currently looking for a paralegal/ fee earner to work within their Financial Mis-selling team.
The role involves bringing claims against Independent Financial Advisers for the mis-selling of financial products. This can include claims such as:
* PPI
* Endowment
* Payday Loans
* Timeshare
* Mortgage
* Cavity Wall
* FSAVCS
* Investment
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own file load with some supervision but ultimately must be able to take the initiative.
The work will involve taking client instructions and preparing complaint letters and/or legal submissions to relevant parties; in addition, the successful candidate will be required to draft witness statements and letters as well as reviewing pension and other financial documents.
The successful candidate will ideally be possessing sound interpersonal and negotiation skills. The role will involve communication with clients via the telephone and email correspondence. Strong written skills and an empathetic telephone manner are pre-requisites for this position.
The ideal candidate will be IT literate with good interpersonal skills as the role will involve a lot of client contact over the telephone. The ability to work well in a team is essential along with a proactive approach to work ethics.
Required Experience- 2 year
Strong organisational skills are also required as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines.
