We are currently working with a local manufacturer who is looking to add a Production Supervisor to their already successful team with Fife.
This is a permanent position and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work with well-established local company.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with timber or MDF experience to progress their career to the next level.
Duties & Responsibilities
The key role of the Production Supervisor will involve the following:
•Efficient production planning to ensure most efficient and effective use of time and resources.
•Manages stock flow to meet production requirements
•Providing supervision in all aspects of MDF production
•Providing instruction and training to other members of the team
•Ensuring all products are manufactured to a high standard
•Carrying out quality checks on finished products in line with ISO 9001 requirements
•Stock management of all related products.
•Effective implementation of Lean Initiatives.
•Maximise service level ratios.
Requirements
To be considered for the Production Supervisor role you must have the following skills and experience:
•Continual delivery of total customer satisfaction
•Previous experience in a similar role
•Ability to communicate with the team to ensure that targets are achieved
•Experience of the manufacturing industry
•Support individual and team direction and development
•Detailed approach to Implementation of integrated management systems
•Detailed approach to implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles
•Computer literate, excel, word, access
The Package
