Structural Engineer
GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 pension plus benefits

An ambitious, highly motivated and supportive engineering consulting based in Manchester are on the lookout for a Structural Engineer to join their technical team and take on some of 2019's new and complex projects. You will be taking part in the design of projects ranging in value from GBP3m to over GBP200m. They operate in a range of sectors including the commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, educational and industrial. They are looking for someone who aspires to develop within the role as well as helping the company complete projects on time.
This Structural Engineer will have responsibility to prepare designs, calculations, specifications, drawings and carry out risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment and new build schemes. You will be involved in all stages of the works to completion.
The role would require someone with the following skill set:
3 years minimum of UK structural engineering experience
Experience working with Tekla Building Structures, TEDDs, Revit or AutoCAD
Close to achieving Structural Engineering Chartership
Background in Civil Engineering (desirable)
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an Engineering related discipline.
This role offers the opportunity to join a large team of technical staff or strongly encourage promoting their staff internally. Within this role, you will be provided support to complete you Chartership and you will be supported if you strive to take on a Senior position in the future.
