Becoming a Business Assurance Analyst with Capita PIP

As the Business Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing assurance to our senior management team and ensuring compliancy across all service lines- including but not limited to; contractual and legislative requirements, system and processes, service quality and internal governance.

This will be achieved through risk-based audit programmes and providing feedback to the leadership team, enabling their implementation of improvements.

You will have the opportunity to broaden your existing skills and experience by gaining exposure to first line responsibility for business continuity, stakeholder management and Health, Safety & Environmental disciplines.

What you will do:

* Plan and deliver a range of audits, producing clear and concise audit reports for the business in a timely manner
* Work with Head of Risk Assurance and Compliance to design, develop, implement and review audit tools and techniques
* Utilise available intelligence to prioritise audit activity, supporting the improvement of business processes and continuous improvement of service delivery
* Support the Head of Risk Assurance and Compliance with the review and management of the annual audit plan
* Escalate breaches of contract to the Head of Risk Assurance and Compliance in a timely manner
* Keep up to date with legislative and industry related changes

Your experience will include:

* Excellent written & communication skills
* To take full end-to-end ownership and manage multiple cases simultaneously
* Excellent analytical skills and understanding of management information
* A self-starter, with a proven ability to prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal input and supervision
* Excellent analysis skills and experienced in using data or evidence to draw clear conclusions
* Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with staff at all levels within a business
* Competent MS Office packages
* Preferably IIA or related audit and risk qualifications
* Understanding of risk-based audit methodology and audit planning
* Previous experience of planning and conducting internal audit and assurance activity
