Regional Contractor requires an Assistant Estimator to join their Commercial Team.

Manchester based office.

GBP18 - GBP23K plus company benefits

The Client

Traditional and family-run, my client has over a decade of experience within the construction industry conducting new build and refurbishment works across sectors including education, healthcare, heritage and commercial projects to name a few.

The Role

Due to an increase work load a permanent opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial team in their Manchester head office.

You will be joining a team of experienced Estimators working in accordance with their estimating systems and procedures, working with other members of the tender teams to secure sufficient work by value and type, in order to meet company objectives.

Duties for an Assistant Estimator

* Assisting with production of location advice for properties for submission to planning.
* Assisting producing data analysis.
* Undertaking project administration as required.
* Managing your own workload to tight deadlines.

Requirements

* Ideally 2 years' minimum experience working in a similar role.
* Driven & enthusiastic
* Desire to progress up the Estimator seniority ladder within coming years.
* Team player but can also work on their own initiative
* Computer literate- especially in Excel, Word and Outlook
* Driving licence & access to own transport (desirable)

Other Details

In return for your skills you will be offered a salary of GBP18,000 - GBP23,000 (dependent on experience) plus company benefits, pension & holidays.
