Search results Next Prev * Marketing And Media * Director * Operations Director * Job details Operations Director - Cleaning Posted Today by Metzger Search & Selection Ltd Easy Apply Featured New GBP60,000 - GBP65,000 per annum South East England , England Permanent, full-time Be one of the first ten applicants View all jobs GBP60,000 - GBP65,000 per annum South East England , England Permanent, full-time Be one of the first ten applicants Operations Director Location: Within an hour of Home Counties Region with flexibility for travel Salary: GBP60,000 + Bonus, Benefits & Company Car The role: *To provide effective and inspirational Operational leadership in an ambitious, high-growth SME business *To ensure the businesses deliver required service levels, within budget and required timescales *To ensure the operations teams deliver the required profits per man per day, per week and on monthly basis *To ensure that from a supply spend perspective the business operates efficiently and always keeps a lean but strong supply chain *To ensure that all operations meet and adhere to required health, safety, compliance and environmental standards and legislation *To direct and drive profitable growth and build and develop a high performing operational team with a defined succession plan *To work with the Founder and Colleagues to shape the Strategic & Operational plans for the future *Reports to the Managing Director The candidate: *Must have a proven ability to motivate staff and garner respect and be seen as a firm but approachable authority from the operational team *All round proven Operational Management capability, with a strong customer service bias *Previous experience of operating at Board Level, but must also understand the detail at "shop floor" level *Experienced in driving operational efficiencies and process improvement *An implementer, "completer-finisher", with fantastic attention to detail *Experience of working "on the business and in the business" *Sensitive to the differences of working in SME, "owner-managed" and corporate *environments *A pragmatic, positive and engaging leader with a strong sense of the possible and excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills *Ideally from the Service sector *Intellectually strong with the desire, resilience, results orientation and personal drive to lead a high growth business *Flexible and adaptable in leadership style, understands how to effect and embed organisational change *Impactful and effective networker with strong influencing and negotiation skills *A genuine "team player" *Educated to degree level, with strong written, numerical and IT skills *Location within M4 corridor and flexibility to travel If you feel you are the person our client is looking for, please email your CV in Word format, quoting reference 104/52/MM .
