My client now has two urgent vacancies for a Senior Project Manager (Fixed Term Contract). These are interim until 30th June 2019. Sitting within my clients new business team, there roles are responsible for the delivery of specific highly complex transformational projects for clients. These roles are home based anywhere in England with UK travel involved.

Description
The Senior Project Manager (Fixed Term Contract) will be part of a dedicated team offering bespoke services to a range of clients as part of the organisation's service portfolio. This core team will lead the development of the team, identify business opportunities, prepare bids and undertake highly complex assignments across the country. The service is available internally to the organisation to support ongoing development and improve internal efficiency, as well as to external assignments.
Profile
The successful Senior Project Manager (Fixed Term Contract) will have the following demonstrable skills:
  • Extensive consulting/operational experience in one of the areas outlined below or equivalent experience within the public or private sector working with clients and organisations:
    - Large consultancy firm working on projects in the public and or private sector
    - Niche consultancy firm specialising in NHS or Public sector and Government assignments
    - NHS commissioning or commissioning support organisation supporting the transformation and reform agenda
    - Provider organisation supporting the transformation of patient service, governance or compliance
  • Proven track record managing the life cycle of an engagement project with a client.
  • Experience of managing multiple complex projects to a successful conclusion.
  • Ability to forge long-term working partnerships with individuals and groups from internal and external departments and organisations.
  • Experience in managing key elements of transformational projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate an informed interest in projects and complex problem solving in the NHS or public sector.
  • Excellent oral and written communications, with the ability to receive and provide highly complex or sensitive information.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess and monitor progress and make adjustments to plans where necessary.
  • Presentation, negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills.
  • Able to meet the flexible working requirements of the role - candidates can be homebased anywhere within England.
Job Offer
Up to GBP50k basic salary DOE + benefits
