Job Overview
The role of Security Officer is key within Brighton College, and demands exceptional communication skills, energy and enthusiasm. As one of the first points of contact for visitors, staff and pupils you will have excellent communication skills whilst being able to manage, in a calm manner, those who should not be on College property.
Responsible to: Bursar via the Head of Health, Safety and Security
Scope of the job
- To provide Security/Concierge Front of House presence on College properties.
- To be proactive regarding the security of the College, Prep School and Pre-Prep School.
- To be alert for possible intruders
- To deal with pupils, staff, governors and visitors in a calm, friendly and helpful manner.
Hours
17 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday) All Year Round, working 10.45pm - 7.15am.
