£15,992-£16,545 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications

Freshlings Nursery is based on Plymouth’s university campus where we provide a safe, healthy, caring, inclusive and stimulating environment for our children. Our children are respected and supported as individuals and are encouraged to learn through play and exploration. We are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all our children.

Freshlings provides nursery provision for up to 86 children between the ages of 0-5 and is available for staff and students at the University. Our opening times are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 17.45pm all year round.

We are looking for experienced and qualified Practitioners to join our friendly and highly motivated team. You will have a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification as well as previous experience of working in a childcare setting with under 5s. Applicants will be confident and caring individuals with good communication skills and the ability to work in close partnerships with our parents.

Under the direction of the Management Team and Room Supervisors, you will work to support a high quality provision, driving the setting forward in a positive manner.

As the nursery is based on the University’s campus, successful applicants will have access to attend lectures and training available through the University as part of their continuous professional development.

All positions are subject to individuals securing enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
