Electronics Engineer

I have a great Permanent opportunity open with a key client of mine, for an Electronics Engineer with a good understanding of processes and techniques to electronics manufacturing, to come on-board and work for a Global leading company who operate in the Defence, Aerospace, Security, Transport and Energy markets.

This role will be based in Rugeley, Staffordshire with a Competitive Salary on offer as well as benefits.

Role Purpose:

This role will have responsibility for leading a small team with specific focus on PCB manufacture. Ultra Electronics PMES Specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of novel power dense, high integrity electronics.

Key Experience:

• Ability to lead a small team
• Rapid learner, flexible and adaptable engineer willing to undertake varied tasks related to the support of the electronics and surrounding system
• An understanding of processes and techniques applicable to electronics manufacturing
• Understanding of basic analogue design
• Understanding of basic digital design
• An understanding of schematic capture and drawing review
• Circuit simulation
• Wiring definition experience
• An understanding of PCB Layout supervision
• Schematic capture
• Flexible working option

Key Responsibilities:

• Analogue and Digital circuit design and Analysis
• Selection and assessment of components
• PCB Layout design and supervision including the use of tools for schematic capture and circuit simulation
• Experienced with Configuration Management and control
• Manufacturing/production and component selection
• Analysis and review of analogue & digital circuits
