Civil Engineer / Drainage Engineer

Are you an experienced Civil Drainage Engineer? Are you capable of assessing Civil Drainage project requirements? Do you have a strong working knowledge of working below ground drainage and private road design? If you’re looking for a new challenge with room for progression, then this could be the role for you!

Due to increased workloads our client has an exciting opportunity for a chartered, or working towards chartership, engineer to join the team. The role will require you to produce and manage technical designs and reports for works associated with domestic and commercial projects.

There may also be an opportunity to progress to Director level in the future.

 Person Specification: 

• The ability to work independently and be familiar with current Eurocodes and British Standards

• Excellent time management
• Ambitious, hard working and dedicated
• Well presented at all times

• Excellent communication skills 
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbally
• Valid UK Driving Licence and own transport

Essential Minimum Requirements:

• CEng or working towards this
• BEng  (Hons)
• Drainage design
• Experience in a variety of sectors
• Capability of assessing civil drainage project requirements

Desirable Requirements: 

• Knowledge of Tedds and Tekla Portal Frame or similar
• Ability to design RC basement structures, portal frames, timber trusses and masonry structures independently

You may currently be working as a Civil or Structural Engineer and be working towards IstructE or ICE.

This role is commutable from Alford, Spilsby, Wainfleet, Skegness, Lincoln, Boston, Spalding, Hull, Grimsby and surrounding areas. Some working from home may be possible for the right candidate.
