Introduction

Cathedral Appointments are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Executive for an established food/drink manufacturing company based in Exeter. Working in the Supply Chain team, this is an important and varied role where the Forecasting Manager will be expected to assist the department in developing reports, analysing information from SAP and developing relationships with the business development managers in managing their stock purchases for the future.

Responsibilities:

* Develop demand and operational forecasts at multiple levels.

* Review historical sales trends and prepare forecast data.

* Develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results.

* Interact with sales, customer service and finance to understand company forecast drivers.

* Liaise with other departments to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.

* Contribute to the Supply Chain Planning organization in developing inventory strategies.

Requirements:

* Highly numerate with advanced excel skills

* Strong SAP experience is essential

* Previous experience working within a busy Supply Chain department is essential

* Previous experience in food/drink manufacturing would be highly beneficial

* Resilient and able to deliver results under pressure

* Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated
