Warehouse Manager
We are a growing portfolio of online retail and wholesale companies seeking a Warehouse Manager in Rochester, Kent.
If you are available immediately, have experience and a good eye for detail, are forward thinking and naturally proactive to join our family business split over two sites in London and Kent. The role is based out of Rochester, Kent.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm (some weekend work may be required and possible overtime during the week)
The job is on a 6 month probationary period leading on to a permanent contract

Role:
* Processing mail orders for dispatch within a specified timescale daily electronically
* Ensuring customer orders are delivered. Follow up orders lost or otherwise
* Record and file daily processing
* Picking and packing customer orders accurately
* Handling and processing returns
* Liasiing with accounts department promptly where refunds an or payments are required
* Purchase orders - raise and process for replacing stock
* Working with services B2B by phone and in person
* securing fragile goods
* Processing goods inwards
* Re-stocking the warehouse / packing room.
* Keeping the warehouse tidy.
* Open and close unit Monday - Friday
* Reporting weekly to management on various performance and or usage matters
* Other ad hoc duties
* Role does involve heavy lifting
Essential requirements are:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent punctuality
* Strong personal organizational skills
* Satisfactory communications skills (spoken and written English)
* Basic computer and internet usage
* Willingness to help with all aspects of the business
* Previous picking / packing experience
