The team functions as second level coverage for clients who prefer interaction at a technical level. The candidate will initially be involved in expanding our analytics and TCA capabilities while supporting the team with existing clients. Over time, the candidate will be expected to take the necessary regulatory exams and help expand the team's client coverage.
THE ROLE
Execution Solutions takes a quantitative approach to providing solutions to our clients. Our solutions and recommendations are driven by data and backed by rigorous analysis. The team works in close collaboration with our clients to develop, test and validate solutions. This is a continuous process to optimize existing solutions to changing markets, market microstructure, flow profiles, client objectives and benchmarks.

LIKELY CANDIDATE BACKGROUNDS
Candidates could come from an existing execution consulting role, algo quant/developer role or from an electronic sales trading background.
Those candidates who are in an electronic sales trading role tend to be more technically minded and may feel they want to get away from the day to day support of clients and into a role where they can have more of a direct impact on how the algorithms are built and enhanced.
Those in a current technical role may feel they no longer wish to continue developing / programming and move to something that is more client facing but still very technical in nature. Execution Solutions sits in between sales trading, product management and the quant/dev teams. It can fulfil the needs of those who want to remain in the technical role whilst engaging with clients to continually improve the solutions we provide.

- Delivery of customized algo solutions to our key clients
- Periodic content & thought leadership
- TCA - metrics and benchmark definition
- Assisting with product development and marketing efforts.

- Subject Matter Expert on execution algos and regional market microstructure, ultimately responsible to deliver solutions that are consistently ranked in Top 3.
- Commercially adept, can deeply engage clients on solutions and express product concepts orally and visually to varying levels of user sophistication.
- Ability to decompose client problems into key questions and user stories, then convert this context and scope into requirements for scalable solutions.
- Ability to tell a clear and concise story with data that delivers the message
A utomation and Data analysis
Develop automation tools to monitor and identify performance anomalies
- Use rigorous quantitative techniques to quantify impact of changes to market microstructure / flow profile / execution algos
- Work in close collaboration with Execution Research, Algo Development, and Product Management to develop appropriate metrics that assist with product marketing.
TCA and custom reports
- Continuous enhancement of our self-service and custom TCA reports. This includes developing relevant metrics and benchmarks to measure specific scenarios and events
Basic Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience with equity Algos / PT.
- Proven experience working with large datasets preferably in python
- Strong quantitative background in statistics and data analysis
- Understanding of equities cash markets and trading systems.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal mediums.
- Sense of ownership of their platform and ability to work with in a global team
- Experience of dealing with prioritisation across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Q/KDB
- Experience building distributed systems in Java/ Python
- Experience with data visualization techniques and tools
- Good understanding of EMEA market structure / microstructure
