SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

Our client is one of the leading packaging manufacturers in the UK, working with clients across the UK as well as in the international markets. They are seeking an individual to fill the role of Sales Account Manager. This successful candidate will be responsible for managing an established account base whilst providing excellent service and developing new business opportunities.
Sales Account Manager Roles & Responsibilities -
- Maintain and develop current relationships by ensuring day to day customer expectations and requirements are met
- Work pro-actively to resolve customer issues, proposing solutions that meet their needs
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Prepare and produce regular reports of progress and forecasts
- Present and negotiate sales proposals, inclusive of pricing & rebates
- Aim to improve overall revenue and account profitability
Sales Account Manager must:
- Be degree educated with minimum 5 years sales experience
- Experience of a packaging manufacturing environment
- Possess exemplary communication skills to interact with individuals at all levels confidently and effectively
- PC Skills including Powerpoint, Excel, Word
- Adhere to all company policies & procedures in respect of customer contracts and agreements
- Have experience of FMCG accounts
- Be willing to travel in the UK
