This is a fantastic opportunity to join a 'disruptor' start-up technology company based in the City of London. Our client is looking for an ambitious and driven professional to manage their social media platforms and drive forward their sales, marketing and promotional campaigns. You will be expected to be familiar or already using social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn in your professional or personal day to day activities.

You will work together with the marketing and SEO team to promote the company's brand and events across the web and to an audience not only in the UK, but across the world.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective customers via telephone and face to face meetings.
  • Post content on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Execute and manage social media campaigns to build followers, enhance visibility, and drive engagement
  • Market events on social media
  • Promote company's brand utilising various marketing tools and platforms
  • Attend events for gathering of information and content to share online
  • Write/source content to post online
  • Produce blogs as well as update content on the company's website
  • Conduct analysis to assess the performance and produce reports for management
  • Monitor social media platforms for third-party comments and relevant interactions such as content sharing and retweeting
  • Build relationships with third-party publishers to provide regular editorial contributions
  • Work with International Marketing Managers to create and localise content
  • Work with SEO team to optimise content for search engines
  • Provide ongoing analysis and performance reporting

Person Specification:

  • Degree in Marketing / Business Management / Journalism or similar course
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • At least 18 months relevant sales or marketing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to execute, monitor and analyse campaigns
  • Experience with social media platforms
