We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Scheme Manager to join our dedicated care and support team in Saffron Walden. You will be motivated to working with Older People at Cornell Court and Younger adults with a Learning Disability at Everitt Road.
As a Registered Manager, you will help our residents to achieve an independent and positive life within a supportive environment and be responsible for the overall management of the scheme. On a day to day basis you will provide practical support for residents without undermining their independence.
You will need to demonstrate good planning, organisational and delegation skills, with strategies in place to monitor and respond to service requirements. Have a "can do attitude" able to Listen and Act With a sound understanding of safeguarding procedures, you will be operationally responsible for the management of the schemes and will ensure a high standard of care and support is maintained at all times in accordance with contractual specifications.
You will motivate and develop staff to provide person centred care and support that enables service users to be as independent and self-determining as possible. You will also be responsible for managing the financial and administrative procedures of the scheme.With strong leadership skills, you will have a working knowledge of the client group.
You should have or be working towards an NVQ4 / SVQ4 in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management, or possess an NVQ3/SVQ3 in Health & Social Care and be eligible to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care.We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services, providing our employees with interesting challenges for their personal and career development whilst also striking the right balance between work and family life.
