About Guide Dogs for the Blind:
Every hour, another person in the UK goes blind. 180,000 people with sight loss rarely leave home alone.
Guide Dog's vision is for a society in which people who are blind and partially sighted enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else
All guide dogs need training from a young age which is an expensive process, so we have developed the 'Sponsor a Puppy' programme
Guide Dogs rely on donations to continue changing lives. Every pound raised makes a difference to people in the UK living with sight loss.
The role:
To inspire people to join & donate to Guide Dogs through direct debit donations via the 'Sponsor a Puppy' campaign which is a fun way to get more people involved! People get to pick which puppy they would like to donate and they get regular 'pupdates' throughout the year about how their puppy is developing.
You will be working face-to-face with members of the public on different high streets, promoting the charity & representing them in a positive & professional way.
The successful applicant will:
- Be outgoing and friendly
- Comfortable with working to targets
- Be passionate about helping others & have an interest in the charity
- Have an excellent level of English
- Experience in customer service and sales is desirable
Guide Dogs are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people and vulnerable adults with whom we work. And we expect our fundraisers to fully share this commitment.
