The Pensions Regulator (TPR) have asked Hays to shortlist applications for possible interviews for a Stakeholder Engagement Business Partner, which is required for a year initially.

TPR is responsible for protecting workplace pensions in the UK, working with employers and those running pensions to help people save safely for their retirement.

Your new role will be to

- Support the development and delivery of a refreshed stakeholder engagement strategy that builds awareness and support for TPR's clearer, quicker and tougher regulatory approach amongst a broader range of stakeholders and partner organisations.
- Take the lead on building TPR's profile and awareness of our key messages with specific allocated stakeholders.
- Lead the delivery of a number of key engagement activities such as managing external working groups and events
- Provide strategic and operational advice to colleagues to support their engagement aims and activities, including engagement and handling plans, internal briefings and external communications
- Design and implement robust stakeholder engagement processes and tools, that encourage joined up external engagement activities by TPR colleagues, and coordinate the effective use of these across the organisation in order to provide a consistent approach to external engagement and sharing intelligence, knowledge and feedback.
- Develop stakeholder messaging and channel management strategies to support our communications aims and objectives.
- Deputise for the Stakeholder Affairs Manager as required
- Support wider Communications Directorate activities as required

What you'll need to succeed

Essential and Desirable criteria

- Strong understanding of stakeholder / relationship mapping tools and techniques
- Solid understanding of a range of communications disciplines
- Good understanding of the pensions and regulatory landscape
- Good understanding of project management techniques, including an understanding of Agile methodology
- Expertise in developing and delivering successful corporate engagement strategies and plans
- Excellent networking, presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to analyse and map business processes
- Ability to produce business tools and associated communications and training
- Ability to capture, collate and present complex information and assess organisational impact
