Mobile Service Engineer
Covering Leicestershire and surrounding areas

LWS Services have been retained by a leading manufacturer and supplier of waste compaction equipment. Due to expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Reactive Maintenance Engineer with welding / Fabrication skills to join their growing engineering team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Attending customer sites for break downs, servicing, maintaining and fault finding of waste recycling machinery such as compactors and balers.
* A quarter of the work will be Welding / fabrication and the rest will be reactive maintenance on the compactors & balers.
* This is a home-based role, covering Leicestershire and surrounding areas.
* You must be flexible with hours including staying away from home if required.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Experience with hot works / fabrication /welding is essential.
* Time Served Engineer with mobile experience.
* Single or 3 phase Electrical qualifications or experience essential
* Skill set: Electrical (3phase) 60 % Hydraulic 30% Mechanical 10%
* Hydraulic Fault Finding and ability to read electric and hydraulic diagrams
* Able to understand install documentation drawings
* PLC knowledge desirable.
* Worked in heavy / Industrial environment, direct experience within the waste/ recycling an advantage.
* Experience working in a client facing role.
* Full UK driving license
Additional Package Details:
* Paid door to door.
* On call rota one in four weeks
* Average overtime 10 hrs a week.
* Contract hours are 39.25 anything over that is time and half.
* Don't work weekends or bank holidays.
* Quarterly profit share bonus scheme on average between GBP100- GBP1,000.
* Full training at their factory
