Finance Manager

Cameo Consultancy is pleased to be working with an exciting and unique client based in Hockley in their search for a finance manager. The ideal candidate will come from a food manufacturing background due to the diversity of the suppliers. You will be joining busy and successful team on a full-time permanent basis. Role Objective:
This role will have control of the finance department and will be reporting to the senior management and owner on a regular basis. Working to strict SLA's and targets this role is ideal for someone that is used to a fast-paced environment with plenty of variables each and every day. This is not your typical finance manager role due to the family orientated philosophy.
Main Responsibilities:
??Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
??Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met. This includes managing a team of 4 to support in achieving goals.
??Forecast cash flow
??Budget control
??Oversee debt financing
??Management of Capex budgeting
??Review and oversee costings and recommend improvements
??Implement cost saving procedures
??Produce Monthly management reports
??Preparing Payroll
??Any other duties as reasonably requested by the business which may not be part of your day to day role.
Required Skills, Experience, Knowledge, Competencies
??Experience of working in a busy, manufacturing environment.
??Minimum of two years experience within a finance manager role
??Good knowledge of Excel.
??Problem-solving and decision-making.
??Analytical skills and a good eye for detail.
??Planning and organisation skills.
??Good communication skills
??Commercial awareness.
