We are recruiting for an experienced Housing Services Officer to join us to cover a substantial area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that truly values its customers and its employees.

As the accountable officer you will provide efficient, co-ordinated, customer focused services that meet local needs and deliver local standards. You will be confident to represent us at local meetings and events, and act as the public face of MTVH in the local area.

Working alongside your colleagues, customers and stakeholders to co-ordinate services and maximise customer satisfaction with MTVHs homes and communities.

This role will be managing various sites and therefore you will need to have a full driving license with access to your own vehicle to be considered for this vacancy.

What you will be doing:
Represent MTVH at local meetings and events with customers and stakeholders, and act as the public face of MTVH in the local area.
Develop and maintain local multi-agency links for benefit of customers and MTVH and use these to deliver efficient, co-ordinated services to customers.
Work with local communities to agree local standards, and ensure that these standards are delivered.
Take the lead on managing relationships with and supporting the full range of local customer and resident groups and forums, whether formal or informal, using MTVHs defined frameworks and tools.
Deliver a robust approach to tenancy and estate management, including a clear and decisive approach to tackling fraud and subletting within MTVHs policies.

You will bring the following skills:
Must have a full and valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
You will need to have strong people skills and be an excellent communicator.
You must have prior knowledge of working within Housing. In particular knowledge of Housing Law, and knowledge of the local area.
You must have experience of working with Legal Housing documents.
The right person for this role must have an exceptional level of customer service and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to build and sustain working relationships with key stakeholders (residents, local authorities, other service providers) - partnership working.
Good planning, organising and prioritisation skills.
Knowledge of project management.
Able to interpret financial and other systems data.
Strong report writing skills. A good standard of written business English.
An interest in the work of MTVH and social housing in particular.
