Role overview

Sopra Steria is recruiting for a Risk & Regulatory Analytics Lead Consultant within our growing Risk and Regulation Consulting practice, supporting the Financial Services sector.

The Lead Consultant will be experienced in working with C-Level client stakeholders and able to provide Risk & Regulatory Analytics business transformation consultancy to Sopra Steria's Financial Services clients.

The role supports our UK wide client base.

Key responsibilities

• Bring Risk & Regulatory Analytics expertise and a Business Consulting mind-set to enable our clients to meet their key challenges and opportunities.
• Identify, develop and shape business consulting opportunities, against target financial services accounts and clients.
• Design, develop and deliver compelling Business Consulting propositions to senior client executives through formal presentations, question and answer sessions and reference visits.
• Consult on key domain areas of Risk Data Management & Governance, Risk Model development & validation, Risk MI development & execution and Regulatory Reporting development & execution.
• Consult on Analytics tools and capabilities, including but not limited to SAS, SQL, R, Python and VBA.
• Consult on Statistical Analysis and Data Science techniques including but not limited to Regression, Markov Chains, Correlation Analysis, Cluster Analysis and Big Data.
• Deliver thought leadership on Risk & Regulatory Analytics to our Financial Services clients and at key Industry events.
• Develop and contribute to the development of our consulting capability through new and innovative approaches and offerings.
• Be seen as a prominent member of the Sopra Steria consulting brand, by both clients and the wider Industry.

Essential Experience:

• Domain experience in Risk & Regulatory Analytics, with skills in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistical Analysis, Risk Modelling and Reporting.
• A track-record in designing, developing and delivering business transformation through Risk & Regulatory Analytics within the Financial Services Industry.
• Experienced at operating at a Senior Management level including direct interaction with Financial Services C-Suite.
• A deep understanding of Risk and Regulation as it pertains to Risk & Regulatory Analytics and associated requirements set by Financial Regulators.
• A deep understanding of market issues, client challenges and transformation opportunities as they pertain to Risk & Regulatory Analytics.
